Student Activities Assistant II

The Student Activities Assistant II is responsible for providing clerical, administrative, and project management support to the campus life department. The SAAII will maintain a current knowledge of appropriate college and academic policies, processes, and procedures to assure efficiency and integrity of the office. Serves as primary point of operational and administrative contact for internal and external constituencies related to campus life.
The Student Activities Assistant manages front desk operations, performs word processing, maintains databases and files, tracks data, budgets, and expenditures, schedules appointments, orders supplies and equipment, processes the mail, answers the phone, compiles information for reports, and provides information about student engagement programs and events. |

Instruction Librarians work with students, classroom faculty and staff to develop and reinforce information literacy for all students at STLCC. Information literacy is the set of integrated abilities encompassing:
• the reflective discovery of information,
• the understanding of how information is produced and valued,
• and the use of information in creating new knowledge and participating ethically in communities of learning.
Varied schedule up to 24 hours per week, including some evening or weekend hours.

The Part-time Assistant Cook, CDLC, is responsible for assisting the Cook at the CDLC in daily management of the kitchen. There is a responsibility to assist in food preparation, set up carts, provide meal delivery, wash dishes, and maintain storage. This position involves an understanding of food service and sanitation as it applies to licensing requirements and accreditation standards. |

The specialist will also produce the bi-annual continuing education catalog and supporting marketing materials in collaboration with the program management and staff.
