Position Summary:
Assists the payroll and accounts payable departments within the Controller’s office.
Primary Duties Performed:
Processes all paperwork in a designated time frame to ensure compliance with procedures as established by the department and College.
Reviews, verifies, and batches information and enters it into the computer for check processing in a timely manner.
Inputs data into the computer and balances outputs from the computer against source documents.
Receives and disburses funds and balances accounts.
Balances all monies received to ensure monies collected are correct and accurate.
Verifies documents for automated processing by ensuring that all accounts are coded correctly and all math calculations are accurate. May monitor the financial affairs, NJCAA eligibility forms and budget of a PE/Athletic/Intramural department.
Uses calculator, computer, copier, and other office equipment as necessary.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent and over three (3) months of relevant full-time experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Banner software experience preferred.

$16.06
