Position Summary:

The Director of Academic Success & Tutoring provides leadership and support for Academic Success Services & Tutoring initiatives across the College district. The Director will serve as the Wildwood Manager of Academic Success and Tutoring and Online Academic Support. The Director supports and serves as a critical resource for the district in the operation and delivery of key initiatives that further the College's goals of increasing retention and graduation rates through enhanced academic tutoring and success services. This includes, but is not limited to, developing standardization where appropriate to achieve quality across all campuses, implementing national best practices for tutoring and academic services, evaluating, and implementing technologies to serve all student populations, creating and managing a district-wide budget, and more.

Primary Duties Performed:

Creates and manages a district-wide AS&T budget and a process for campus AS&T budget allocations
• Provides leadership to AS&T Managers and develops consistent/standardized operating procedures across the district where appropriate to ensure alignment with the College's Strategic Plan, Mission and Vision.
• Facilitates professional development opportunities and training for AS&T managers
• Investigates and implements best practices for AS&T services
• Investigates and implements technologies to support AS&T services for all students in all modalities.
• In coordination with marketing, works to promote AS&T initiatives and increase student participation
• Creates a process in which to collect data, evaluate, and report on AS&T efforts throughout the district to the President & CCAO of Wildwood and the Academic Affairs Division.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning and a minimum of five
years of relevant work experience
• 3+ years' experience in tutoring services
• 5+ years of management experience
• Master's Degree preferred
