The new communications faculty member's home campus will be Wildwood but will be considered district wide faculty and will be expected to teach at any STLCC campus, as needed. St. Louis Community College is hiring a full-time, temporary, faculty member for the English Department, with appointment beginning in Fall 2025. This temporary faculty position will be available for the 2025- 2026 academic year.
The position will be based at the Meramec campus and potentially have assignments at other College locations as needed.
Teaching responsibilities may include day, evening, and weekend courses as well as online, hybrid, and live virtual lecture formats. In addition to classroom responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to engage in departmental activities. Candidate will support ENG 079/ENG 101 co-requisite class students.
Candidates are eligible for medical benefits and will take part in the PSRS Retirement Program.

The new hire will be made at the level of Instructor II or Assistant Professor, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience in the profession of MRI and those possessing a graduate degree.
