| Serves students in the TRIO Student Support Services program, a federally funded grant designed to support first-generation, limited income, and students with documented disabilities in reaching their academic goals. TRIO Advisors provide comprehensive and proactive advising, educational guidance, career and transfer planning services and assistance with applying for federal financial aid and scholarships. Additionally, TRIO Advisors plan and implement cultural enrichment activities, college tours, workshops, and other programming that increases student retention, graduation and success. |

Supervisor, Fitness Center (Part-time)

| This position is responsible for supervision and oversight of the STLCC fitness areas. Individuals holding this position must be punctual and have the ability to work independently and solve on- the-job issues. This person will be responsible for opening and/or closing the fitness areas; ensuring a clean and safe environment; identifying and reporting equipment functionality issues and maintenance needs to the facility supervisor; and overseeing fitness center attendants and student workers. |

Associate Tutor, Upward Bound

| Tutors are responsible for assisting students with the academic challenges they encounter while taking college preparatory classes. Tutors will be responsible for assisting teachers and high school students in classroom learning. Tutors are responsible for assisting students in completing assignments and other program activities. Tutors must be willing to work two Saturdays each month, attend staff meetings and perform other job-related duties as assigned. Tutors must be proficient in one of the following subject areas: English, math (algebra through pre-calculus), Science (biology and/or chemistry), foreign language (Spanish, French, or Latin). |
