Lifeguard Forest Park Campus
The lifeguard plays a crucial role in maintaining a secure and enjoyable aquatic environment for all patrons. The primary focus of this position is to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals using our pool facilities. Duties include enforcing pool rules and regulations, promptly responding to emergencies, screening participants, and collaborating with a team of lifeguards during special events.
College Police Officer District-Wide
The work of the commissioned police officer involves responsibility for the protection of life and property, prevention of crime, apprehension of criminals and the general enforcement of laws, ordinances, and College policies. Duties normally consist of routine patrol, preliminary investigation, and traffic regulation. Police officers also may be assigned duties as training officers. Work involves an element of personal danger. The employee must be able to exercise sound independent judgment under stress. Assignments may include work on special tasks, which call upon specialized abilities and knowledge possessed by the officer. Work assignments can be general or specific and instructions are received from a supervisor who reviews work methods and results through reports, personal inspection, and discussion.
Manager of IT Innovation Corporate College
The Manager for the Office of Innovation will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education at STLCC. This position will lead the exploration, development, and implementation of cutting-edge technologies, including generative AI such as ChatGPT, to enhance student learning, assist instructors in developing innovative teaching methods, and improve overall operational efficiency within the college.
Program Coordinator - STLCC Tech Academy Meramec Campus
The Program Coordinator will be part of a dynamic and visionary team of leaders of the STLCC Tech Academy. The Program Coordinator is a grant-funded position and it facilitates the St. Louis Community College’s Bank of America Grant Program. A program that is designed to support closing the wealth gap by providing access and support to higher education for underrepresented and female students that will enable them to acquire jobs in high growth and promising Information Technology industries. WORKING CONDITIONS: Generally works in an office environment. Hours of work may exceed 8 hours. May work some additional weekends. Local travel needed occasionally.
Healthcare Instructor - Centralized Telemetry Monitor Tech Training Forest Park Campus
Workforce Solutions Group (WSG) division is in need of a Part-time Instructor to instruct course material related to the Centralized Telemetry Monitor Technician healthcare training program. Instructional hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm and include lecture and skills lab instruction. Instructors hours are flexible and can vary from 8 hours to 30 hours weekly. Training occurs at Forest Park or William J. Harrison Education Center.
