The successful candidates will teach lecture and laboratory classes to a diverse group of students in face-to-face and hybrid formats. While assignments may occur throughout the day, evening instruction will be required, with a high likelihood of night classes at the Forest Park campus. We are looking for educators who use varied teaching techniques to develop critical thinking skills, support student success, and are committed to student advising and departmental activities. |

St. Louis Community College is hiring a full-time, temporary, faculty member for the English Department, with appointment beginning in Fall 2025. This temporary faculty position will be available for the 2025- 2026 academic year.
The position is shared between the Meramec Campus and South County. The successful candidate should expect at least half of the assigned schedule to be offered at South County.
Teaching responsibilities may include day, evening, and weekend courses as well as online, hybrid, and live virtual lecture formats. In addition to classroom responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to engage in departmental activities as well as opportunities to grow a rich student experience at South County through events, clubs/groups, and collaborations with other faculty.
