Provides leadership, planning, and supervision to the federally funded TRIO Student Support Services program, a federally funded grant designed to support low income, first generation, and students with disabilities in reaching their academic goals including college persistence and graduation. Plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate program services and activities to ensure grant objectives are being met. Oversee TRIO Student Support Services project for continuous improvement. Manage identification, selection, assessment, and notification process for student participants. Plans and conducts retention-directed activities and events including Peer Mentoring and Peer Tutoring programming. Plans and coordinates promotion of the program to a variety of stake holders. Coordinate with college departments including purchasing, finance and accounting, human resources, marketing and information to ensure that program goals are met. Ensure the fulfillment of grant objectives, prepare and submit Annual Performance Reports to U.S. Department of Education, and develop regular reports for District Director of TRIO Programs. Program liaison to TRIO conferences, trainings, US Department of Education Program Officer, campus committees and meetings. Perform any other duties as required in fulfillment of the project. |
