The Radiologic Technology program at STLCC is seeking a full-time faculty member to serve on the Florissant Valley campus. This position is a full-time faculty, temporary position, set to begin in Fall 2025. The new hire and assigned rank will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and teaching experience. The new Radiologic Technology faculty member will be expected to teach, mentor students, fulfill administrative duties within the Radiologic Technology program, and serve on departmental and campus committees. They will assist the Radiologic Technology Chair to assure effective program operations, and maintain current knowledge of program/clinical policies, procedures, and student progress. The successful candidate will demonstrate the use of varied teaching techniques that help students develop critical thinking skills and understand the relevance of radiography to the community. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom to improve student learning outcomes and a commitment to classroom assessment. |

The English Department/ESL Program at STLCC is seeking a Districtwide, part time, temporary ESL Adjunct Instructor to begin in Fall 2025 semester. Preference will be given to those with community college experience in teaching English as a second or third language. The desired candidate will have a Master’s degree or higher in TESOL, Linguistics or other related field. The new ESL temporary faculty will have experience teaching academic writing, low intermediate to advanced grammar and English listening and pronunciation skills. The successful candidate will be confident using technology and practice varied teaching techniques. The new temporary adjunct faculty will reach students where they are and guide them to the next level of English in the four skill areas. |

The position requires a wide range of professional responsibilities, including participation in curriculum and course development, course budget preparation, departmental planning, and attending departmental, campus, and college-wide meetings. The faculty member will actively engage in committee participation, provide student mentoring, and deliver didactic and clinical instruction at the Forest Park and/or Florissant Valley campus. Additional responsibilities include coordinating or co-coordinating dental hygiene clinic and laboratory courses, preparing course materials, and performing other duties as assigned. The faculty member’s course assignments will be determined by the program chair and assistant chair, in line with their education, expertise, and preparation. |
