Child and Family Development Assistant Florissant Valley Campus
The Child and Family Development Assistant performs duties necessary to teach and care for infant through twelve-year-old children, provides support and constant communication with families, and serves as a model for college students (specifically in Child and Family Development). This position is a floater position that may be scheduled in any room in the Child Development Laboratory Center, including the infant/toddler rooms, two/three-year-old rooms, and preschool rooms.
Instructor II / Assistant Professor - Foreign Language Florissant Valley Campus
St. Louis Community College is seeking excellent candidates for foreign language (Spanish) faculty position to start in August of 2022. This position is part of a district-wide discipline housed on the Florissant Valley Campus of St. Louis Community College but will teach courses at campuses across the district. Faculty are members of the certificated staff, including department chairs, who are assigned for instruction, student services or instructional resources for not less than 50% of their total assignment. Faculty load involves the sum of all activities in which a College teacher is expected to be engaged that are related to professional duties and responsibilities. The hire will be made at the level of Instructor II or Assistant Professor, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and teaching experience.
