Including, but are not limited to, resolving authentication problems, basic software support, verifying proper hardware and software set-up, power cycling, navigating college applications, print related issues, and troubleshooting email issues. Support will be provided in a user-friendly, professional manner. |

This is a District wide position- As a Federal work-study student you will be in a supportive role providing assistance as needed depending on the assigned department. These jobs are considered financial assistance and have limited funding. Students who have not completed the FAFSA and enrolled cannot be reviewed for eligibility or placement. Eligible candidates will be hired on a first-come first serve basis and requires all documentation listed on Banner Self-Service be turned into financial aid. There are a variety of departments to choose within the college. |

Student workers will gain essential entry-level IT skills in networking, cybersecurity, software development, and/or help desk support. They will learn to support various technologies—including PCs, scanners, and printers—and software such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, Internet tools, Canvas, Banner-Web, and introductory programming languages. Working in the E307 Computer Center and Computer & Information Technology (CIT) Department technology centers, they will perform routine maintenance, manage housekeeping tasks, and complete additional assignments as directed by the E307 shift supervisors and department chair of the CIT department. |
