The Social Sciences departments on each of our four main campuses (Florissant Valley, Forest Park, Meramec, and Wildwood) are seeking a full-time, one-year temporary (through May 2026) faculty member to support enrollment needs in history. This position will teach on campus during the day, evening, or weekend hours and may teach online courses depending on qualifications and need. There is an immediate need for faculty for the fall semester later-start courses (beginning Monday, September 22, and Monday, October 20). Faculty who can teach in multiple disciplines (i.e. 18 graduate hours in more than one discipline) are preferred but not required. |

The Radiologic Technology (Clinical Instructor) program at STLCC is seeking a full-time faculty member to serve on the Florissant Valley campus. This position is a full-time faculty, continuing position, set to begin in Fall 2025. The new hire and assigned rank will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and teaching experience. The new Radiologic Technology faculty member will be expected to teach, mentor students, fulfill administrative duties within the Radiologic Technology program, and serve on departmental and campus committees. They will assist the Radiologic Technology Chair to assure effective program operations, and maintain current knowledge of program/clinical policies, procedures, and student progress. The successful candidate will demonstrate the use of varied teaching techniques that help students develop critical thinking skills and understand the relevance of radiography to the community. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom to improve student learning outcomes and a commitment to classroom assessment. |

As the front line of student services, the Associate responds to inquiries across multiple channels—including in person, phone, email, and chat—and connects students to appropriate departments and resources.

The goal of the Health Sciences Retention Coach is to develop and implement successful retention strategies for health science program students using a systemic approach focusing on social and academic barriers of the student, incorporating various systems within the STLCC network as well as the community. Creating and implementing a culture that focuses on equity, diversity and inclusion is an integral part of achieving a quality health science program that will have a positive impact on the community in which those graduates will serve. Health Science Retention Coaches not only support and advocate for students but identify issues that may complicate learning by collecting data that can be analyzed for possible barriers that may affect student retention. Then analyzed data can be used to recommend strategies to minimize barriers. |
