In addition to teaching communications courses, preference will be given to candidates with community college experience and the ability to also teach theater or mass communications survey courses. The new communications faculty member's home campus will be Wildwood but will be considered district wide faculty and will be expected to teach at any STLCC campus, as needed. The successful candidate will demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom to improve student learning outcomes and a commitment to classroom assessment. St. Louis Community College is hiring a full-time, temporary, faculty member for the English Department, with appointment beginning in Fall 2025. This temporary faculty position will be available for the 2025- 2026 academic year.
The position will be based at the Meramec campus and potentially have assignments at other College locations as needed.
Teaching responsibilities may include day, evening, and weekend courses as well as online, hybrid, and live virtual lecture formats. In addition to classroom responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to engage in departmental activities. Candidate will support ENG 079/ENG 101 co-requisite class students.
