Assistant Coordinator, Veteran Affairs Corporate College
The individual in this position will work closely with and under the direct supervision and guidance of the District-wide Coordinator of Veteran Affairs. Expectations of this position will be to assist in the daily operations of Veterans Affairs. This position will act as the liaison between the students, campus, and the Coordinator to quickly address and resolve student complaints and campus escalations as it relates to VA as well as take an active part in process improvements between Veterans Affairs and Financial Aid processes. The individual in this position must have a good understanding of military culture and be able to clearly address and communicate with students, staff, and community constituents effectively. Director of Counseling Services Wildwood Campus
Provide district-wide leadership of mental health counseling services for St. Louis Community College students focusing on short-term (and in limited cases longer term) individual and group mental health interventions, crisis interventions, and collaborative referrals to campus and community partners that promote student success and retention. Oversee daily operations and clinical services across all college locations. Ensure student mental health services are aligned with institutional mission and strategic priorities. Provide direct mental health services to students: primary areas of intervention include, but are not limited to anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, stress, suicidality, and surviving trauma. Provide mental health consultation, training, outreach, and educational workshops for students, faculty, and staff. Counselors are expected to work within the ethical guidelines of the American Counseling Association and applicable Missouri statutes and remain current in their licensure and counseling skills through an intentional program of professional development activities.
