The basics of this position:

This position is for a Physical Therapist assistant program faculty member. It will entail preparing, managing, and delivering course content to achieve course objectives, accommodate diverse learning styles, and meet administrative requirements. It will also require regular faculty meetings and curricular revision processes.

What you'll do:

  • Primary duties would include classroom instruction, when applicable, ensure laboratories are appropriately stocked with required supplies and that equipment is in safe operating order, actively engage students and provide prompt feedback in an objective, respectful, and effective manner, prepare and correct examinations and other student work assignments. In collaboration with program director, provide input in selection of course materials as appropriate to instructional content and use the college’s learning management system and other technology as indicated to maintain and submit accurate class records such as attendance and grades.

Education, experience, and other requirements:

Bachelor's degree minimum. Must be either a currently licensed physical therapist or physical therapist assistant and certified with 2 years of work experience in the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Qualifications:

Some teaching experience is preferred.
