The basics of this position:

***This position begins Spring 2025 and will teach in our new LPN Certificate Program & RN Bridge Course at the South Center Educational Center location.***

Provides classroom and/or clinical instruction with areas that may include (but are not limited to): Nursing Skills Practicum, Simulation, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Mental Health, and/or Pediatric Nursing and clinical experiences.

What you'll do:

  • Full-time Faculty duties and responsibilities normally include:
    Formal course contact teaching hours; Preparation and planning for instructing assigned classes in accordance with course objectives; Preparing and correcting examinations and other student work assignments; Scheduling student conferences to review individual student progress; Assistance in student academic advisement; Participation in departmental selection of course texts, instructional equipment, library books and non-print resource materials; Participation in departmental development, evaluation and revision of course objectives and outlines, instructional strategies, and systems of evaluation of student learning.

Education, experience, and other requirements:

Current undisciplined Missouri RN license and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with a minimum of twelve (12) graduate credit hours completed towards an MSN OR Current undisciplined Missouri RN license and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
