The basics of this position:

STLCC is seeking Faculty Instructors to provide instruction and assist in course development for Business Logistics / Supply Chain Management courses, hold scheduled office hours, conduct assessment of student learning, and maintain appropriate documentation.

What you'll do:

  • - Facilitate student learning by delivering assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
    - Make optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods.
    - Supplement and alter, where appropriate, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials. Maintain accurate student records, grades, and other requirements.
    - Engage with students proactively and regularly in meaningful and productive ways that impact student learning.
    - Interact with students and co-workers in a professional and cooperative manner, complying with College policies, guidelines and expectations.
    -Assist in course development, when needed.

Education, experience, and other requirements:

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or Business Administration with 3-5 years in related work experience OR
• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in an appropriate combination of the following subject areas:
• Business Administration,
• Business Analysis,
• Imports/Exports,
• Industrial Engineering,
• International Business,
• Logistics, Management,
• Operations Management,
• Project Management,
• Quantitative Analysis,
• Supply Chain Management,
• Transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous higher education teaching experience.
Prior work experience in the Purchasing and Logistics field.
