The basics of this position:
Workforce Solutions Group (WSG) division is in need of Training Facilitators to instruct the Community Health Worker course material for part-time days.
What you'll do:
- Prepares materials for delivery from an approved program. May customize materials to meet the identified performance needs of the grant. Delivers instruction in a virtual format. Interacts with students to address real work problems using adult teaching methods. Additional deliverables include, but are not limited to , class rosters, worksheets, handouts, course evaluations, grant compliance and certificates.
Education, experience, and other requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in related field or CHW Credential and 3+ years experience working in the community as a CHW.
• Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.
• Personal and professional integrity which communicates a sense of mission, leadership, and ability to self-start.
• Committed to providing quality customer service.
• An uncompromising commitment to student learning through the college's mission, vision, values and the delivery of instruction.
• Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of LMS.
Completion of Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services Train the Trainer Program for CHW Instructors.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous successful instructor experience
Completion of CHW training program.
