The basics of this position:
The accounting Lab Assistant Provides Tutoring and homework support to students using the lab and accounting software support to students and faculty. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
What you'll do:
• Provides information on a wide variety of topics to diverse audiences.
• Tutor Accounting students
• Supervise computer lab.
• Answers a multi-line phone system, takes messages, transfers, and refers calls toappropriate persons or department.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Education, experience, and other requirements:
Currently enrolled student with a High School diploma or equivalent, and over three (3) months of relevant full-time experience, or any combination of education, training, and experience that provides required knowledge and abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must be a registered STLCC student prior to applying for a student worker position. Must maintain student status during employment. Must have completed introductory accounting courses.

- Must be able to get along with others.
- Must be comfortable helping students learn accounting concepts.
