The basics of this position:
The FV Arts and Communications Department is seeking a highly organized, problem solver to provide technical and instructional support in the 3-D area.
What you'll do:
- The primary duties of the 3D Lab manager include:
• Hazardous waste management
• Studio equipment maintenance
• General studio maintenance
• Instructional assistance
• Art work installation/Gallery assistance
• Support for special events
Education, experience, and other requirements:
Required Qualifications:
General knowledge of woodworking and/or metal fabrication and casting.
Strong organizational skills
Able to do heavy lifting
At least one year of experience with shop management
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates that have experience with woodworking, metal casting/fabrication, and ceramics experience.
