The basics of this position:
Lab technician(s) to assist technical training facilitators in non-credit training courses for business and industry partners, as well as open-enrollment classes. Lab technician should have experience in the specific industry and/or classroom. Specific topics include but are not limited to:
• Aerospace Manufacturing
• Industrial Maintenance & Automated Controls
• Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning
• Welding
• Measurement & Hand Tools
• Safety and Quality
• Technical Training
What you'll do:
- Performs duties necessary to assist instructors in the development, testing, and application of equipment or experiments for laboratory use.
Education, experience, and other requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 1 years of experience
• Associate degree or equivalent plus 3 years of experience
• 5 years of experience – Industry recognized credential may be required
• Industry and/or training certification(s) desired, e.g. EPA, MSSC CPT, NIMS, OSHA.
• Other industry certification(s) in related fields.
