Position Summary:
The Coordinator Manufacturing Lab tech is the interface between the support functions for labs and the instructors. Duties will include repair, maintenance, operation, and demonstration of
equipment used for training students; ensuring facilities and equipment are maintained in a
safe, operable condition; assuring that activities comply with safety standards and procedures.

projects, create new labs or activities, and support the department and college in general.
Primary Duties Performed:
Repairs/operates/demonstrates mills, lathes, water jet, band saw and other - items used in conjunction with CNC, 3d printing, and robotic controllers. Prepares lab projects for students and instructors. This includes material preparation, machine setup including dry run, project procedure evaluation or creation. Supervises and instructs students in labs. Schedules equipment repair and maintenance. Develops procedures for operation of upgrade or new equipment. Researches and evaluates new technologies for future capital purchases. Purchase supplies for all labs and classes. Maintain a safe working environment in all labs. Consults with students for class registration. Evaluates and requests needed physical plant maintenance. Supports department, division and campus and college initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
Associates of Applied Science in Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering Technology, or similar AND three years' experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Robotics and/or 3D printing equipment

Preferred Qualifications:
Three or more years of industry work in repair and troubleshooting

$43,930.00 Minimum
