The basics of this position:

Performs duties necessary to coordinate the maintenance and HVAC on
buildings as well as housekeeping, setup needs, and other facilities related
services utilizing the college's facilities management software and website.
Serves as first line point of contact with faculty and staff and performs
follow-up to appropriate supervisors and managers by coordinating
facilities related services.

 

What you'll do:

  • Maintains the facilities management software and designs, develops, and
    maintains the facilities management website.
  • Serves as administrator of
    the Facilities Support Center help desk.
  • Responds to customer needs by
    dispatching, logging and tracking all problems using the district-wide
    facilities help desk tracking system.
  • Maintains any necessary follow-up to
    ensure services rendered are satisfactory.
  • Utilizes programming tools to develop, enhance, and maintain applications
    of the databases.
  • Makes adjustments to databases as needed to generate
    facilities-related reports.
  • Creates publications and/or presentations to train and educate
    staff/faculty on the utilization of this system to maintain their
    maintenance and HVAC needs.
  • Coordinates informational exchange with accounting to ensure adequate
    chargeback to departments.
  • Maintains district-wide construction/renovation database for reports;
    compiles data for historical and presentational purposes. Advises
    management.
    Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Education, experience, and other requirements:

Associate's Degree or equivalent and over three years relevant full time
experience.
