The CDLC at Florissant Valley is hiring for Childcare Teacher I (requires Associates Degree) and II (requires Bachelors Degree). performs duties necessary to teach and care for infant through Pre-K children and provide support and constant communication with families. Performs duties necessary to train and supervise college students while providing on-site instruction; assist college students to achieve educational objectives referred by the academic departments (specifically Child and Family Development).
Groundskeeper District-Wide
STLCC’s Facilities department is seeking applicants for a Groundskeeper position. We are looking for knowledgeable, experienced, and motivated candidates for this year-round position. Working Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime, this position offers an opportunity to contribute to the success of STLCC by enhancing the grounds and landscaping on our multiple campuses. Supervisor, South County Campus and Design & Creative Arts South County Campus
The Supervisor, South County and Design & Creative Arts will recruit, hire, and supervise tutors for the district in Design & Creative Arts including scheduling, timekeeping, evaluation, and training. The Supervisor will track and report on student use of services and ensure tutor availability to meet the demands of the students. This position will assist the MetaMajor manager with resolution of student issues. Lifeguard Forest Park Campus
The lifeguard plays a crucial role in maintaining a secure and enjoyable aquatic environment for all patrons. The primary focus of this position is to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals using our pool facilities. Duties include enforcing pool rules and regulations, promptly responding to emergencies, screening participants, and collaborating with a team of lifeguards during special events.
College Police Officer District-Wide
The work of the commissioned police officer involves responsibility for the protection of life and property, prevention of crime, apprehension of criminals and the general enforcement of laws, ordinances, and College policies. Duties normally consist of routine patrol, preliminary investigation, and traffic regulation. Police officers also may be assigned duties as training officers. Work involves an element of personal danger. The employee must be able to exercise sound independent judgment under stress. Assignments may include work on special tasks, which call upon specialized abilities and knowledge possessed by the officer. Work assignments can be general or specific and instructions are received from a supervisor who reviews work methods and results through reports, personal inspection, and discussion.

Performs duties necessary to provide daily maintenance of the interior and exterior of campus buildings; repairs lighting and electrical systems on roadways or walkways; builds cabinets, countertops, etc.; completes supply order forms; sets up equipment for classes.
