The basics of this position:

Performs duties as necessary to coordinate the production of video and media materials or the circulation and/or the maintenance of instructional equipment, media systems, and related technical activities. Proposes and implements operating procedures; organizes and directs the use of available resources; trains and instructs employees; instructs faculty, students, and staff on the operation of classroom systems and associated equipment throughout the campus.

What you'll do:

  • Arranges for repairs, replacement, or enhancements of media systems and equipment.
  • Maintains inventory of instructional materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Receives, inspects, and catalogs all incoming equipment and supplies.
  • Provides preventive maintenance and repair of media equipment.
  • Maintains databases for equipment and materials dealing with inventory and circulation; proposes and implements system  improvements.
  • Provides circulation of instructional media and equipment; provides efficient organization, maintenance, production, circulation, and distribution of instructional materials and equipment.
  • Proposes and implements new policies or procedures.
  • Prepares reports, manuals, and documents relating to the utilization of media and equipment and materials.
  • Assists in the selection of equipment and materials; communicates with publishers and vendors.
  • Trains and assigns work to employees; may participate in performance evaluations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, experience, and other requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent
  • Over three (3) years of relevant full-time experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extron AV associate Certification
